Nothing stirs the hearts and stomachs of the fast food-loving masses quite like all-you-can eat specials, especially when they involve endless French fries. Just in time for the holidays, one Missouri McDonald’s is offering customers the gift of unlimited fries.
The owners of a new McDonald’s in Gladstone, MO, a suburb of Kansas City, are celebrating the grand opening of the restaurant with an offer for endless fries from Dec. 20 through Jan. 31, 2017 for in-store customers who order a a new “Signature Crafted Extra Value Meal,” the restaurant says in a press release.
“We want to celebrate the grand opening in a big way,” the owner-operator says. “We are excited to reward our loyal customers who have been eagerly awaiting the new restaurant by providing them endless fries and extra lovin’ this Christmas.”
On opening day, Dec. 20, the first 50 drive-thru and first 50 in-store customers to come through the doors will also receive a card that entitles them to a free Extra Value Meal each week for a year. Starting at 5 p.m., the first 100 customers through the doors and first 100 in the drive-thru will get free medium soft drinks each week for a year.
There must be something about Missouri and endless fries: in April, a new location in St. Joseph, MO announced that it would offer all-you-can-eat fries upon its July opening. Though the rumor mill soon started buzzing about a possible company test of unending fries, McDonald’s eventually clarified that the promotion was limited to that one location.
